Meet Liani
My love for design began the moment I left school, completing my studies in Interior Design before going on to earn a psychology degree. While my academic journey took different paths for some time, creativity has always been my constant.
Driven by an innate need to create, I launched my own clothing brand, Alter Ego the Label in 2015, an expression of my passion for design and aesthetics. But as life evolved—especially after becoming a mother—I found myself drawn to a slower, more intentional form of artistry. I explored floristry, where I discovered the beauty of crafting something ephemeral yet deeply meaningful. While I loved making events beautiful, I was always the friend people turned to for advice on making their homes and spaces feel special.
My true calling became clear when I began side projects—gutting and renovating homes, creating Airbnb spaces, and designing and building my own home in 2020. It was during this time that I realised exactly what I loved: curating spaces that felt calming yet striking, timeless yet bold.
What started as a creative outlet quickly became something more. Interior design became the place that centred me, allowing me to channel my artistry into spaces that feel effortless, functional, and refined. To further develop my skills, I pursued Certificate IV in Kitchen and Bathroom Design, where I honed my technical abilities in custom joinery, floor plans, mechanical layouts, and 3D rendering.
Since then, I’ve taken on full home projects, offering bespoke interior and joinery solutions that transform spaces into something truly exceptional. Every project is a reflection of my journey—a blend of creativity, experience, and a deep understanding of how design shapes the way we live.
